The US Embassy needs to procure the rack protection installation and lines painting.

Existing site conditions

Floor of the main Warehouse building is a poured in place concrete slab with various thickness, horizontal and sloped to drain areas near the gates. Shelves of the storing system are not detachable. Because of warehouse function all work shall be done in portions of about 10-20% of the whole area.

GFM:

  • US Embassy Moscow will provide Rack-end protection barriers and installation in necessary quantity
  • WHSE staff will be responsible for the relocation of the stored goods from the area scheduled for lines painting

Scope of work

  • The contractor shall perform the following works within this project:
  • Clean up the floor from the existing dust and debris. Clean with the vacuum cleaner where necessary
  • Repair and level the floor with the concrete mix where necessary for the Rack-end protection barriers installation
  • Install the Rack-end protection barriers per manufacturer instructions
  • Paint lines and areas around shelves on the new floor per the scheme provided with the TIKKURILA Temadur HB 80 paint or similar. Color – Standard Security Yellow, RAL – 1021 or similar
  • Secure to the floor storage racks on the mezzanine floor with anchors 12mm x 100mm approximately 400ea

The Contractor shall complete the contract work within 20 working days after commencement of the work. Actual schedule of work and working zones shifting shall be discussed with the COR and Warehouse Management.

The U.S. Embassy in Moscow is seeking the possibility to destruct 13 armored vehicles in Finland.

 

Please provide your price quote for this project.

The project includes:

  1. Loading of 13 vehicles in to the trailers or car carriers at the Embassy Warehouse (we have no loading equipment there).
  2. Export customs clearance.
  3. Transportation to Helsinki.
  4. Customs and logistics formalities in Finland.
  5. Storage vehicles at controlled yard in case you need a few rides to bring all 13 vehicles. The project should not last more than two weeks.
  6. Arranging of one (two as a max) destruction of vehicles at Kuusakoski  Recycling Company in the presence of representatives of US Embassy.
  7. Issuing of Certificate of Destruction.

Period of project implementation – June 2013.

The Embassy of the United States is seeking solicitations for transportation in Sochi for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games

Introduction/Background

In support of National Security Presidential Directive 46 by deterring, preventing, and defeating threats and aggression aimed at the United States, its territories, and interests including the protection of Americans abroad, the State Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) is required under formal agreements with the USOC (US Olympic Committee) to provide resources and manpower to create and implement a Joint Operations Center for on-scene, 24-hour security coordination during the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.

Objectives

The objective of this SOW is to provide transportation in support of shift changes, FLO (Field Liaison Officer) deployment capabilities, and airport arrivals/departures for temporary support staff in Sochi, Russia.

Scope of Work

Provide on-call transportation on a 24-hour basis with no less than 2 vehicles, each with the capacity of no less than 20 persons for the period of 1 February 2014 to 1 April 2014. For the period of 1 January 2014 to 1 February 2014, provide one 24-hour vehicle of equal capacity.

The Embassy of the United States is seeking solicitations for two-way radio communications in Sochi for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games

 This solicitation shall include, licensing, frequency authorizations, installation, de-installation, technical support, repeaters, base radios, mobile radios, and handheld radios. System must have four separate conventional or trunking repeater channels and two simplex channels or talk-groups providing communications operating in the VHF or UHF frequency ranges. If trunking technology is employed sufficient channel capacity must be assigned to ensure all user groups of this solicitation can operate simultaneously and with priority above competing user/trunk groups. This solicitation requires repeater coverage at and between the following locations:

Olympic Park

Sochi (Adler) Airport

Russian National Ski Jumping Center

Russian National Sliding Center

Snowboard Park and Freestyle Skiing Center

Alpine Center

Cross-country Ski and Biathlon Center
