The Bells of Danilov Monastery return to Russia

The Bells of Danilov Monastery return to Russia after a stay of nearly eighty years at Harvard University.  They were saved from destruction in 1930 by American businessman Charles Crane, and placed in a Residence Hall at the University, where they were rung to celebrate special occasions.  The bells returned to Moscow after an emotional pilgrimage to St. Petersburg and Novogorod, where they were seen by thousands of people.
