In a toast at the Patriarch's Residence, Ambassador Beyrle noted that both America and Russia were founded on religious faith, and faith had helped both nations to get through difficult times. The Patriarch thanked the Americans who had worked hard to organize the return of the Danilov Monastery Bells to Russia.
