English Language Office for the Russian Federation
English Language Office in Moscow
The English Language Office (ELO) in Moscow, established in the Embassy's Public Affairs Section in 1993, cooperates with the Ministry of Education and local professionals on a variety of English language teaching (ELT) programs and projects and provides resources throughout the Russian Federation. The English Language Office in Moscow is one of 16 such offices around the world. Its work is coordinated by the U.S. Department of State, Office of English Language Programs, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, in Washington, D.C.
