Instructions for IV Applicants Using USTRAVELDOCS.COM

In accordance with the immigrant visa procedures ALL applicants must arrange express delivery of their visas BEFORE the interview. Your visa will be delivered by the Pony Express courier service free of charge to the address that you provide, but only within the territory of the Russian Federation. Visas cannot be delivered to an address outside the Russian Federation.

If your interview date has already been scheduled by NVC or KCC you should arrange delivery only. Please follow the instructions:

In order to arrange delivery please visit http://www.ustraveldocs.com and create a new user profile. If you are immigrating with family members you must create a separate profile for each family member immigrating with you. On the left column of the screen choose the option 'IV Address Registration'. Then enter the delivery information (mailing address or office for pick-up), print out the final confirmation page containing a barcode (press PDF in order to print), and bring it to the interview. Present the confirmation page at the windows at the entrance to the Consular Section after passing through security screening.

If you do not have an interview date and need to schedule one, please follow the instructions for scheduling/rescheduling. In this case delivery arrangements should be made during the scheduling procedure.

In order to schedule an interview date visit http://www.ustraveldocs.com and create a new user profile. If you are immigrating with family members, you must create a separate profile for each family member immigrating with you. On the left column of the screen choose the option 'Schedule Appointment'. Choose ‘Immigrant Visa’, then ‘All Immigrant Visa Interviews Scheduling/Rescheduling Including Delivery Arrangement’. Select the appropriate Visa Class. Then enter the delivery information (mailing address or office for pick-up), choose the date of the interview, print out the final confirmation page containing a barcode and bring it to the interview. Present the confirmation page at the windows at the entrance to the Consular Section after passing through security screening.

If you need to reschedule your interview date and have already created your user profile, you visit http://www.ustraveldocs.com and choose a new interview date. If you do not have a user profile, follow the instructions for the scheduling procedure in the paragraph above.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I want to schedule my interview for three months from now, but no dates are available. What should I do?

Usually the system shows available dates for the nearest two months only. If convenient dates are unavailable, please check back for additional dates at a later time. You can reschedule an interview within one year from the original date. Please do not schedule your interview if you are not sure you will be able to come on that day.

  1. While creating a profile the system requires my medical exam expiration date, but I have not completed it yet and don’t know the expiration date. What should I do?

If you have not completed the medical exam, put any date in this field.

  1. I received a message stating that my interview has been cancelled because of double scheduling. What does that mean?

Sometimes people who have already been scheduled by NVC or KCC mistakenly make interview appointments for the same day. The Immigrant Visa Unit cancels such appointments to make these dates available for other applicants. In any case, applicants should bring the printed final confirmation page containing a barcode to the interview in order to arrange for delivery.

  1. I rescheduled my interview date. How can I cancel the previous date?

When you schedule a new interview date in your profile, your previous one will be canceled automatically.
