Delegation from the U.S. Department of Labor Travels to Moscow

A delegation from the U.S. Department of Labor is in Moscow December 10-13 to participate in the International High-Level Conference on Decent Work.

The Conference has been organized by the Russian Federation with the support of the International Labor Organization. It brings together more than 800 delegates, including government officials, representatives of trade unions, and employers’ associations from 80 countries and 16 international organizations.

Mark Mittelhauser, Associate Deputy Undersecretary for International Labor Affairs and Robert Shepard, Director, Office of International Relations, also met with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection to discuss future bilateral cooperation and priorities for labor and employment under the Russian presidency of the G20.
