U.S. and Russian Law Enforcement work together to nab pedophile

U.S. and Russian Law Enforcement work together to nab pedophile

Thanks to joint effort by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Procuracy of the Russian Federation, and the St. Petersburg (Russia) police, Andrew Mogilyansky was sentenced to 97 months in prison for traveling to Russia to engage in sex with young orphan girls.  The defendant, a dual citizen of Russia and the United States, organized and ran an international prostitution ring which exploited young girls.

Andrew M. McLees, acting special agent in charge of the ICE Office of Investigations in Philadelphia, said “Today’s sentence is the direct result of extraordinary cooperation between ICE and Russian law enforcement officials.”
