New Competition for "Developing Partnerships between Russian and U.S. Universities"

On May 14, the Federal Agency for Education of the Russian Federation announced the launch of a new competition for "Developing Partnerships between Russian and U.S. Universities." Aimed at improving joint educational and research activities and strengthening competitiveness in higher education, the competition is the first phase of a process towards partnerships between three American and three Russian universities/consortia jointly-funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the U.S. Department of Education.
The Federal Agency seeks proposals in three broad subject areas – Sciences (R 6.000 000 available), Economics (R 6.000 000 available) and Humanities (R 6.000 000 available), as well as proposals for the dissemination of the innovative results of the three winner-projects (R 3.000 000 available). The deadline for applications is June 22.
