The United States to Participate in the Moscow International Aviation and Space Salon, August 21-26, 2007

Moscow, August 6, 2007 — United States military equipment and personnel will be represented at this year's Moscow International Aviation and Space Salon, August 21-26, 2007. Various models of U.S. military aircraft and equipment and approximately 70 aircrew and support personnel from bases in Europe and the United States are scheduled to attend. U.S. military personnel participating in the air show will provide aircrew, maintenance and administrative support services.
Department of Defense participation demonstrates our commitment to international security, promotes international cooperation, and contributes to U.S. foreign policy objectives. Participation will consist of static displays and aerial flight demonstrations.
