Founded in 1983 by American trombonist Michael Levine, "The Dallas Brass" is one of the most popular ensembles in the U.S. Performing a repertoire of jazz, music by American composers, and classics, The Dallas Brass musical program — "An American Musical Journey" — features songs ranging from George Washington's time until the present. The Dallas Brass also performed at the Hermitage Garden in Moscow on July 8, 2007.
