Jazz Ambassadors Tour Russian Cities. The Kelley Johnson Quartet performed to a full house of 250 guests of the Ambassador at Spaso House in Moscow, gave a concert and a master class in Perm, played for an audience of jazz lovers at the Yaroslavl Jazz Center, and jammed with Russian Musicians on the Jazz Boat Cruise on the Volga River in Yaroslavl. The American musicians commented that the program in Russia was both extensive and diverse. The interaction with Russian musicians and students was a great experience for both Jazz Ambassadors and Russian performers. The Jazz Ambassadors truly used the cultural experience of jazz music to build mutual understanding in both the capital city and regional cities.
