On the evening of April 27, a fashion show entitled "The Interlacing of Cultures" presented work designed by Virginia Yazzie Ballenger at the International House of Music. The collection presented clothes made of velvet and cotton, decorated with dazzling Indian ornaments and bringing together Indian Navajo art traditions and fashion trends of the American South-Went. The author, Virginia Yazzie Ballenger (Navajo tribe), is a renown modern artist and designer, an owner of the Model House "Navajo Spirit Southwestern Wear."
