International Festival "Jazz in the Hermitage Garden"

This year the festival celebrated the 100-year anniversary of the American jazz star Count Basie. American jazz singer and former singer of Count Basie Orchestra Dennis Rowland came to Moscow. He performed together with the Estonian Dream Big Band. Renown American trumpet player Eddie Henderson also participated in the festival. In the 1970's he recorded with Herbie Hancock, played with Art Blakey in Jazz Messengers, and recorded more than a dozen albums. In Moscow Eddie Henderson performed with pianist Yakov Okun's quartet.
