Vladimir Spivakov and American Musicians at Spaso House

On November 28 at the Ambassador's residence at Spaso House, American musicians performed in concert as part of the "Vladimir Spivakov Invites" festival. Evening guests met with Indra Thomas, an American opera singer, who in several years after her debut in opera gained a new generation title of Verdi soprano. Critics love to speak of her "innate Verdi voice." Besides opera roles the repertoire of the singer includes songs of George Gershwin and especially spirituals. Indra Thomas twice performed at the International Festival in Colmar, France, with Vladimir Spivakov. At the concert at Spaso House, she also performed with maestro Spivakov.
