Cooperation Programs
Anti-Trafficking in Persons
The U.S. Embassy continues to play an important role in supporting Russia's anti-trafficking efforts. The United States and Russia are both vulnerable to the crimes of trafficking in persons, and both countries have recognized and responded to this tragic and serious problem.
Grant Opportunity
The Global Office to Combat Trafficking (G/TIP) annually solicits grant proposals for programs to combat human trafficking. Proposals are to be submitted in Russian or in English but submission in English facilitates Embassy review. If you are able to do so, please submit a brief abstract in English of your proposal. The 2008 deadline for proposal submission has passed. Please visit this page periodically for updates on the 2009 request for grant proposals. You may familiarize yourself with the text of the latest request for proposals.
